Back to thinking about what I should paint tonight. Explore the icon book for some bridge elements in it. What else can I search through, something that ties it all together.
Bridge in the background, icon elements in front, what else huh? Some nudity would be nice. all elements that stem from my childhood. Skyway in the background, iconography in the middle ground and a nude in the forefront (doing what?, bathing-a classical pai the middle ground and a nude in the forefront (doing what?, bathing-a classical painterly pose).o on saturday. I got up at 9am, I was up late starting my painting, "Study for My Children". I didn't do any peliminary drawings for it and it shows. But I did use my video camera to get a shot of myself to use in it. I continued working on it last night.

Well I managed to put in a good couple of hours on the painting out of the last four to five hours.
I keep taking these long breaks, as if I don't want to work on the hard parts..
I think I finished the bridge and the clothes on the self portrait and the cloak on the woman. Still need to concentrate on the faces and the mask plus putting some yellow over the green field.
Well now that I listed the unfinsihed sections of the painting it doesn't sound like there's too much left to do.

Got that baby there. Still needs a bit of touch up, but Its done.
Too bad it sucks. Oh well, next time, it is only a study after all.
Fill up all the little underpainting still visiable, fix the eyes and the hands, maybe do something more with the orange and my nose.
I am not happy with it but it goes up in a couple of days.
I need a frame for it, and labels for all of them.
Need to do paintings with brushes, have to have a space to do oil painting. Acrylic just doesn't go on thin enough or smooth enough for me.

Haven't finished it yet, oh it's not so bad, but definately have to fix the orange.

Put what I think are the finishing touches on the painting. Oh well, not too damn happy with it.
I kind of slapped it together. It doesn't seem as polished as I was getting before. I should redo it with my customary materials.
Oh that reminds me I need to find a frame for it.
Frame it tomorrow and get it to the gallery by 6 PM tomorrow evening.
